Dante Nardini III

Dante M. Nardini III, 59, of North Haven, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Hamden Health.

He was born October 10, 1962, in New Haven and was the son of the late Julia and Dante Nardini II.

Dante (Danny and DJ as he was also known) spent his career as both a plumber and drafts person.

Danny grew up in North Branford then moved to East Haven where he graduated from East Haven High School. At a very young age, with his dad as his coach, he developed a love of hockey and became very skilled. After graduating he spent a year in Canada hoping to get drafted. He moved back to North Branford then to North Haven where he started a family. Shortly after his son Steven was born, the family moved back into Danny's childhood home in North Branford. Steven was and remained the center of his world. Danny was a devoted father who would show up to Steven's football games from youth football to the high school gridiron. In his spare time, Danny loved taking long rides on his motorcycle with his buddies and enjoyed a good game of pool. Danny was the life of any party with his dry ense of humor and quick wit. He was a real jokester and a prankster but most of all he was very polite, respectful and would help people in any way that he could. Danny was a great person who will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son Steven Nardini of North Haven; sisters, Kim Nardini of East Haven and Dina Nardini of Branford; nephews, Chance Doebrick and wife Gabi of West Haven, Jesse Doebrick of East Haven, Nicholas and Jonathan DeMorro of East Haven, Anthony Fiorillo and his fiancé Karissa of Branford and great nephews, Ashton and Dante. He also leaves behind his life partner Cindy Soloman of New Haven and the entire Soloman and Palmieri families.

A very special thank you to Tony Izidro who was like a brother to Danny along with Rich Tercyak for keeping him company at his bedside.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford.
