Daniel V. Taragowski

Daniel V. Taragowski, age 72 of West Haven passed away peacefully at Ct. Hospice in Branford on June 30, 2021.  Dan was born in New Haven on July 2, 1948, son of the late William Vincent and Nellie Mary (Lobas) Taragowski.  

Dan was a city employee of West Haven for 34 years, retiring in January of 2005. Dan was a true lover of music, especially Country Western. He loved the old sitcoms on TV, which he would watch frequently.  Dan was a lucky person, always finding winning lotto numbers, and sometimes winning big.  Most of all,  he will be remembered as a good person, always ready to help anyone in need. He leaves behind his sister Katheryn Conway of West Haven, as well as many cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed.  

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St. West Haven, on Monday July 12, 2021 from 5 pm to 7pm.  A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church, 300 Captain Thomas Blvd, West Haven.  Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave, North Haven.  To leave a tribute or condolence please visit www.keenanfuneralhome.com
