Constance M. Elliott

Constance “Connie” M. Elliott, age 85, of West Haven passed away at Connecticut Hospice on July 18, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Elliott.  She was born in Jamaica, NY on January 8, 1936 to the late Harold and Margaret (Gordon) Hoffman. 

Connie was a retired waitress and school crossing guard on Main Street in West Haven.  She will be sadly missed. 

She is survived by her two sons, Kevin Knowlton of Florida and Mark Knowlton of West Haven, one foster daughter Lynette (Gary) Thomas of Florida, two step-sons, Bernie (Agatha) Elliott of Guilford, David (Barbara) Elliott of North Haven and three granddaughters, Ashley, Tammy and Crystal Knowlton of Florida.  She also leaves behind her two brothers, Michael and John Newbury of Florida, two sisters, Peggy Hoffman and Paula Spina of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Deborah Spina and grandson Kevin Knowlton. 

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven, CT on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven at 11:00 a.m.
