Charles P. Demorest, II (Chuck) passed unexpectedly on October 20, 2022. He was 39. Chuck worked on the CT shoreline as well as Florida and St. John (United States Virgin Islands) in construction, and the trades. He was proficient in all phases of building, and bringing his creative ideas to life. Chuck’s love of fishing led him to work on offshore vessels as well as recreational in-shore fishing. He would often be seen with his NY Yankee’s hat on, always a dedicated fan.
Chuck is survived by his Mother Kim Langley of Centerbrook, his Father Charles P. Demorest of Chester, his Sister Kacey Demorest (Marcus Hunter), and Nephew Marcus Hunter all of Old Lyme. Also his half-brother Shawn Stebbins of Hanrahan South Carolina.
Chuck was active in the recovery community, and was respected by all.
There will be a Memorial Celebration of Life on Sunday, November, 20, at 2 p.m. at the chapel next to the Madison Congregational Church, 26 Meeting House Lane, Madison, CT.
