Charles J. Daley

     Charles J. Daley, 58, of West Haven, husband of Jaime Wagner, passed away on January 19,2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born on August 18,1963 in New Haven. He was the son of the late Thomas F and Shirley J. (Steele) Daley. He was predeceased  by his former wife Diana Lintott-Daley. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Leon, Thomas, and Robert Daley.

     Charlie was an avid New York Yankee, Boston Celtics, New York Islanders and Giants fan. He loved the Marx Brothers movies as well as the Golden Girls. Charlie had a heart of gold and always helped others with whatever they needed. For example, Charlie would be the ATU (Ambulatory Treatment Unit) Uber eats driver and deliver food to his wife Jaime and her co-workers at the VA Hospital. No matter what, he was always there to help his neighbors where he lived. He had a smile that lit up the world. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. 

     Charles is survived by his wife Jaime and two sisters Laura (John) Saleeba and Ruth (Sal) Mastropetre.  Charles is also survived by his nieces Shannon Marie Saleeba and Jody Lynn Inzitari. 

     A Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 26,2022 at 10:00 am at St Lawrence Church in West Haven. A celebration and memorial of his life will be celebrated at a later date.
