Catherine Evarts

Catherine Evarts, age 78, of North Branford, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of Ellsworth Evarts.  Catherine was born in New Haven, Connecticut on September 3, 1940 to the late Ralph and Helen Kane Huling.

Catherine earned her Associates degree in Accounting and worked for Burke Realty as Office Manager for ten years.  She loved scrap booking, cruising and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children, Paula (Donald) Ferro of North Branford, Theresa (John) Donroe of Northford, Lori (Charles) Coil of Florida and Frederick (Andrea) Doyle of Branford, two brothers, Michael (Carol) Huling of Clearwater, FL and  Patrick (Marie) Huling of East Haven.  Catherine also leaves behind five step children, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Ralph “Buddy” Huling, two sisters, Bessie Singer and Frances Huling and one grandchild, Christopher Ferro.

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford, Monday, December 17, 2018 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
