Carmen Milagros Resto-Serrano

Carmen Milagros (Millie) Resto-Serrano of New Haven age 54 passed on August 26th at St. Raphael's Hospital. Carmen was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico to the late Florencio Resto and Guilermina Serrano. Carmen resided in Manhattan New York and moved to New Haven CT.

Carmen will be sadly missed by her husband Jesus Alvarado of New Haven and her 3 children Alex of NY , Madeline of West Haven and Edwin of New Haven , also missing her will be her grand children Tatyanna of West Haven, Justin of West Haven and Ethan of NY. Carmen was one of three sisters. She leaves being Marisol Ramos of NY and Maria Resto of NY and nieces and nephews Elizabeth, Wilfredo JR, Jason,Anthony,Brandon,Michael and Matthew. 

Carmen was a special person. She was caring mother , wife and a friend to anyone and everyone she has ever met. She was a woman of faith and was very close to our lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Carmen enjoyed watching her shows on television, her crossword puzzles and speaking to her grandson Ethan on the phone. She especially loved when HE would yell “I LOVE YOU GRANDMA”.  Carmen's true joy was her family, being with her family was the best gift she can ever have. Every family member should know she loved and cherished every single one of you. She will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. Here is Carmen with her beloved husband. 

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven on Sunday September 1, 2019 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.  Funeral Service will be Monday September 2, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Keenan Funeral Home.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
