Carmel Susan Forgione

Carmel S. Forgione of North Branford passed away unexpectedly on June 27th, 2018. Daughter of, Pasqualina (Mongillo) Porto and the Late Andrew C. Porto.

Beloved sister to Chris, Andrew, Maryanne, Frank Porto and wife Heather Porto and Linda Picozza and husband Henry Picozza. She was the beloved wife of Mario Forgione married for 44 years and beloved Mother of Mario Forgione (daughter-in-law Danielle Foucaud) and Nicole Carrasquillo (son-in-law Rene T. Carrasquillo). She was the most amazing Grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren who she loved dearly.

She filled our lives with LOVE, JOY and LAUGHTER. She loved antiquing, creating beautiful works of art, traveling and going on adventures. She was a lover of all things. Patient, wise and a beautiful compassionate soul. She will be immensely missed by her family and friends.

A Memorial to celebrate her life will be held on a later date. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to The ASPCA in her honor, aspca.org.  Keenan Funeral Home, North Branford are assisting the family with the services.
