Betty, 92, passed away peacefully on October 30th at Apple Rehab of West Haven, CT. She was born June 3, 1929, daughter of Louis and Henrietta (Oakley) Bartlett. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Frederick Kaiser; three daughters Nancy Smith (Christopher), Karen Lewin (Robert), and Allison Kaiser; six grandchildren, Kristin Mariano (Eduardo), Lindsay Wehnert (Brett), Ryan Smith, Michael Smith, Robert Lewin (Nicole), Michelle Abbott (Kyle); five great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Camila Mariano, Savannah Wehnert, Maximus Lewin, and Zackary Abbott.
Betty enjoyed gardening, baking, and collecting jewelry. She was known for her Christmas cookies and her love of reading. She had enough books to open a library. Betty was a member of the Order of the Easter Star New Haven, CT. People will remember her for her joyous smiles and her love to be with family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 5th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St. West Haven, CT. There will be a prayer service at 12 p.m. Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
