Audrey was the person at the main desk greeting everyone who came into the Yale Admissions Office for many years. She was always extremely patient, gracious, and kind -the perfect Yale ambassador. No matter what the crowd, or how many people, or how nervous the students who appeared to be interviewed, or how tense the parents, or how tardy the interviewers, or how confused the situation became, she was always calm and collected and smiling. I would recognize her handwriting on the slips of paper handed to the Yale interviewers anywhere! Yale owes her a lot for her patience and kindly welcoming over the years and for being the gracious face of the University for so long. I hold her memory in high regard.

I worked for years with Audrey in the Yale Admissions office. She was a delightful person and I am saddened by her passing.
