Arthur F. LeMere

Arthur F. LeMere, age 81, of North Branford, formerly West Haven, passed away on October 2, 2020 at CT Hospice.  He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Moore LeMere.  Arthur was born in New Haven, CT on April 7, 1939 to the late Arthur and Harriet (Melin) LeMere.   

He worked for Metro North Railroad for 31 years in the Signal Department.  Arthur loved spending time with his family camping and boating and he was a lifetime Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.

Arthur is survived by his four children, Christopher (Melinda) LeMere of North Branford, Mark (Mary Sue) LeMere of North Haven, Michael (Janet) LeMere of North Haven and Arthur (Lynn) LeMere of Milford.   He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and his three siblings, Peter LeMere, Jack LeMere and Laurie Mullenix.  He is predeceased by one sister, Carolyn Gaffan.

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 425 Buckingham Avenue, Milford.
