Anna May Simeone

Anna Simeone (4/23/1933 - 9/15/2019), 86, of West Haven, CT,  was suddenly welcomed into heavens gates on Sunday, September 15, 2019. She was an avid dancer and enjoyed being a majorette. Anna was known as ‘Granny’ by her granddaughters, was a wonderful grandmother — sharing many memories and lessons with the young girls. She was adored by her husband, Anthony Simeone Sr, and they enjoyed a 66 year marriage. She was a loving and attentive mother of her two children. Most of all, she was unapologetically Anna.

Anna was predeceased by her parents John Gaigan and Annie Reilly-Gaigan both of Milford, CT. Anna was also predeceased by her siblings: Jackie Gaigan, Thomas Gaigan, Peter Gaigan, and Susie Gaigan-Parker. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Simeone Sr and their children: Anthony Simeone, and her daughter Debi Pierpont (Marc). She is also survived by her granddaughters Morgan and Mary Pierpont.

A Celebration of Life will take place Friday September 20, 2019 from 6-8 p.m at Keenan Funeral Home at 238 Elm Street in West Haven, CT.
