Angel L. Colón

Angel L. Colón, age 44, of West Haven passed away on March 10, 2020 at Yale New Haven Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Carmen Lopez.  He was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on March 25, 1975 to Domingo and Luz Figueroa Colón.

Angel was employed as Shop Forman at Aaron Supreme Storage Container Company of New Haven for the last 22 years.  He was well known for helping anyone in need, putting them before himself at times. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed raising his roosters.

Besides his wife of 23 years, he is survived by his four children, Angel L. Colón Jr. of Puerto Rico, Dante M. Emanuel of West Haven, Taisha M. Colón of Puerto Rico, Angelys M. Colón of West Haven, five brothers, Juan Colón, Nelson Colón, Carlos Colón, Huriberto Colón, Alexis Colón, one sister Brenda Colón and three grandchildren Keshley, J’Xcian and Jace.

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
