On Friday, February 5, 2021, Andrew Vargo, of Orange, CT, loving husband, father and grandfather suddenly passed away at the age of 90. Andy was born on February 22, 1930, in Bridgeport, CT.
Andy was a veteran of the Korean War and a letter carrier for over 35 years. He worked many additional part-time jobs. He loved technology and embraced each new gadget as it came along. He loved his sports and watching the UConn girls basketball games on TV with his wife Joan. Andy loved life and most of all, his wife and kids.
Andrew was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Jennie, a sister Irene and grandson Joshua. He is survived by his wife Joan of 68 Years, sisters, Marge Vargo, Jean Vargo, six children, Peggy (Tony) Cirillo, Richard (Jean) Vargo, Jeffrey (Grace) Vargo, Janice (Bruce) Varga, Andrew (Paulette) Vargo, Jennifer (Mark) DiLauro and his Grandchildren, Jason (Rika) Cirillo, Corey (Patty) Cirillo, Kaitlyn (Joe) Teta, Mark Vargo, Samantha (Mike) Fowler, Lauren (Marco) Palumbo, Amanda (Dan) Zapatka, Ashley Vargo, Derek Varga, Ryan Varga, Kilee
(Joe) Richardson, Drew Vargo, Molly Vargo, Emma DiLauro, Jack DiLauro, Olivia DiLauro, great grandchildren, Ryu, Riki, Lyla, Aidan, Jackson, Ava, Kimberly, Roman and many nieces and nephews.
He may have been 90 in years but 30 in every other aspect. Words can not begin to describe how much we will miss this man.
