Andrew A. DeLillo

Andrew A. DeLillo, 70, of Clinton, formerly of West Haven, Passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the West Haven VA Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Alberta DeLillo. Born on August 21, 1951, he was the son of the late Joseph DeLillo and Frances (Manganella) DeLillo.

While attending West Haven High School, Andrew, with the blessing of his parents, enlisted early in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during Vietnam. He honorably served in the United States Air Force and National Guard as well. Andrew was a true “Jack-of all-trades”, proficient in carpentry, painting, and several other fields. An avid black jack player, Andrew enjoyed trips to the casino.  He also loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with his family, including his beloved dog Doodles.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife Alberta, Andrew leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Joseph (Sheylynn) DeLillo, and Andrew DeLillo, a daughter, Nicole (Matthew) Rose, seven grandchildren, Andrew, Mackenzie, Shayla, Jack, Lynx, Taylor and Ashley. He also leaves behind two sisters, Janie Lawler and Susan DeLillo-Delvecchio, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Chairamonte, and one niece, Jacqueline Kilburn.
