John was a such a sweet, kind, friendly man. He genuinely cared about others. As a Christian he loved his Lord, as a husband & father & grandfather he loved his family, as a veteran he loved his country. It was always fun to chat with him. He would go on & on about his family, his garden, and cooking! I am so grateful to have known him. My sincerest condolence to all the family. Remember, we do not mourn as those who have no hope!
