  • Keenan Funeral Homes joined Carriage Services, a company of select funeral homes and cemeteries that specialize in personal and meaningful tributes. As our mission statement states, we are committed to being the most professional, ethical, and highest quality funeral and cemetery service organization in our industry.   • Hugh Keenan IV
    Hugh Keenan IV, Funeral Director - Friend & Neighbor

    Hugh Keenan and his family has enjoyed a long relationship with the people of West Haven that dates back to 1898. Over time, this relationship has been strengthened based on trust and compassionate service to friends and neighbors in this unique community. Many years ago, he increased the area of service to include facilities at 238 Elm Street, West Haven and 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford. Throughout this growth, he has remained steadfast in his dedication to provide the very best care at the most difficult time and this commitment remains to this day.

  • Jerry Tilton
    Jerry Tilton, Funeral Director - Managing Partner

    Jerry Tilton joined Keenan Funeral Home as Managing Partner in January 2011. He graduated from New England Institute in Massachusetts with an Associate's Degree in Mortuary Science and prior to joining Keenan Funeral Home, worked in funeral service on Cape Cod and New Jersey for over 27 years. He is a licensed funeral director in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey and is a Certified Funeral Celebrant.

    He is very active in Rotary International and is past Exalted Ruler of B.P.O.E. # 2572 Lodge of Elks. Jerry and his family are in the process of relocating to North Branford and are planning on becoming active parishioners of St. Augustine Church in North Branford.

    Jerry and his wife Jessie have four children, Christina, Jonathan, Zachary and Rachael. He enjoys camping with his family and mountain climbing in the White Mountains.


  • Lynn A. White
    Lynn A. White, Funeral Director

    Lynn grew up in Suffield, Connecticut and attended the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York, NY where he graduated in 1970. His funeral service career began with The Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, an association that also offered an opportunity to be involved in public and promotional relations as well as aspects of cemetery management with the funeral home’s corporate sister, Rose Hill Memorial Park. Moving to New Haven in 1976, Lynn joined the Keenan Funeral Home in June of that year and resided in the Elm City before moving with his wife Ann and two sons, Daniels and Dean, to North Haven in 1983.

  • Ronald Brickett
    Ronald Brickett, Funeral Director

    A graduate of American Academy Mc Allister Institute of Funeral Service in Ney York, NY, class of 1969. Ron has been in the Funeral Business for over 40 years. From 1974 to 1984 Ron was involved with the Donation of Body Program for Anatomy learning and research at Yale University School of Medicine and later worked for several funeral homes prior to joining the Keenan family in 2007.

  • Christine Carfora
    Christine Carfora, Office Manager

    Chris joined the Keenan family in December 2009 as office manager. She was born and raised in New Haven and lived a short while in Florida before returning to New Haven. Chris worked 23 years as a Financial Specialist for the U.S. District Court in New Haven and is a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul in East Haven. She participates in the Susan B. Komen walk every October at Lighthouse Park in New Haven and loves to travel.
