Paul S. Kasperzyk passed away on December 4, 2017 at Connecticut Hospice after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born on March 3, 1955 to John and Helen (Rosenplanter) Kasperzyk. 

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Thomas.  Paul is survived by his son Joseph and daughter in law Lanisha as well as his daughter Jennifer. He is also survived by his siblings; Philip, John and his wife Karen, Stephen and his wife Teri, Peter and his wife Donna, Donna (Rick) Dematties and Debbie Corso, as well as his seven grandchildren; Joneya, Joseph Jr. "Fat", Cory, Caron and Cali Joe Kasperzyk and Danaja and DeEra Nelson.

Paul worked for the State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation as a crew leader in the Milford electrical crew before becoming an electrical shop teacher at Eli Whitney, Platt and Wilcox Technical High schools where he was loved and respected by all his students.  He also coached the boy's basketball team at Eli Whitney.  In his early years he was a member of the Connecticut Hurricanes Drum Corp.  His family would like to thank the staff at Smilow Cancer Hospital, especially Dr. Becker and nurse Diana, as well as the staff of Connecticut Hospice for the excellent care Paul received throughout his illness. 

Friends and family may gather at the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St. West Haven on Monday December 11, 2017 from 4-7pm. Interment will take place on Tuesday December 12, 2017 at St. Lawrence Cemetery. If you wish to attend the interment service you are asked to gather directly at the cemetery office located at 280 Derby Ave. West Haven on Tuesday December 12, for 10am.
