Michael K. Lawrence

Michael K Lawrence was born August 14th 1955 in Jacksonville North Carolina to Lynda V Lawrence. Michael was known to everyone as uncle Mike. Mike was a very active person, he accomplished so many things in his life. Mike proudly served in the United States Army, and he was honorably discharged. He continued on in his life doing so many things, he was a mechanic,  a carpenter, and a musician to name a few. He did many things in his life, but the most important was that he was a fighter, a survivor. Mike became very ill, he was diagnosed with lung cancer, there were many days that seemed worse than others, but one thing he never did was give up. He fought his battle till the very end he was simply tired. Mike lost his courageous battle with cancer on May 13th 2017. Mike was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
