Marie Merola

Marie Merola age 90, of North Branford CT, beloved wife of Blacey Merola, passed away Saturday, February 4th 2017 at her son’s home in Plant City, Florida.  A native of New Haven CT, Marie was born on February 28, 1926 to the late Frank and Julia (Dagostine) Esposito. Besides her husband, Marie is survived by her daughter, Adrienne Merola Kerst (Jim); her son Robert Merola; grandchildren, Jeremy Shoffstall, Holli Shoffstall Hopkins and Grant Merola; as well as two great-grandchildren, Brody and Harper Hopkins.  Marie was predeceased by her brother, Frank Esposito and her sister Rita DeCaprio. Friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Rd North Branford on Sunday February 12, from 2-4pm.  Friends are asked to gather at the funeral home Monday, February 13, 2017 at 10am when the funeral cortege will process to All Saints Cemetery in North Haven where a graveside service will be held at 11am.  In lieu of flowers, Marie requested that donations be sent in her memory to The Office of Radio and Television, WJMJ Catholic Radio, 15 Peach Orchard Rd., Prospect, CT 06712.
