Linda R. Sibarium

Linda R. Sibarium, age 72, of West Haven, passed away on July 5, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.  She was the loving wife of the late M. Michael Sibarium.  She was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 12, 1945 to the late Adolph Max Otto Ruge and Frieda (Weiss) Ruge.

Linda was a Sales Associate and Retail Manager for Filene’s and Macy’s.  She was a member of the Eastern Star and an avid member of the West Haven Congregation Church.  She lived for her family, a fighter against her disease.  Linda never complained and took care of her family for as long as she could.

She is survived by her four children, Harry (Melissa) Sibarium of West Haven, Michael M. Sibarium of Milford, Jonathan R. Sibarium of West Haven and Elizabeth A. Sibarium of West Haven and two grand children, Jazzmine and Jason.  She was pre deceased by one daughter Sherry J. Sibarium.

Family and friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven on Sunday, July 9 from 1pm – 4pm.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday, July 10 at 11:00am.  Burial to follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in New Haven.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
