Lenda F. Savenelli

Lenda (Burke) Savenelli, 73, of West Haven, wife of the late Dominic Savenelli, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday October 16, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital with her children David and Dawn by her side.  She was born on February 10, 1944 to the late Thomas and Dura (Langley) Burke.  Lenda was a kind hearted woman who had a deep love for her family, grandchildren and her pet animals. 

She is survived by her two children; David Bassett and Dawn Alexander as well as five step children; John Sauro, Janet Richitelli, Danny Savenelli, Peter Savenelli and Roseanne Savenelli.  She is also survived by many grandchildren and nieces and nephews whom she adored greatly.  She was predeceased by two brothers Billy and Michael and her two sisters Diane and Susan.  Her family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Yale New Haven Hospital for their compassionate care of Lenda during her final days. 

Family and friends may gather at the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St. West Haven, on Sunday October 22, 2017 from 2-4PM.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 4pm.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
