Tom I am so sorry for the loss of your grandfather. He was a wonderful, wonderful man. I am sorry that I could not make the wake. I feel terrible. Your grand father and grandmother Jean, were great people. I saw them every day at daycare with the 2 of you. I also knew your grandmother from Yale. I will never forget the conversations we would have. They are together now. May they rest in peace and look down upon you and your family and guide you. Take care Janice Agostini and Family.

Mr. D. was one of the nicest people I have ever known. I had the pleasure of growing up across the street from the Donavons and practically becoming one of the family. There are so many fond memories, especially wild ping pong games in the Donavon basement with Mr. D., Steve, Tom, and I. Also water skiing from their speedboat with that same cast of characters. Too many good memories to write here. Condolences to Tom, Steve, and John. Rest in peace Mr. D.

Message from WHEAT

All of us at WHEAT mourn the passing of one of our founders and long time dedicated board member, John. John served WHEAT from 1983 through 2004. His vision grew WHEAT from a small room at the Community House to the large building we own on Washington Ave. His gentleness, kindness and vision will always be an example to us.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family.
