Jean D. Riordan

Jean D. Riordan, age 81 of West Haven passed way at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday January 9, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late Robert Riordan.  Jean was born in East Haven on May 1, 1936, to the late Herbert E. and Beatrice (Shanley) Jillson.

Jean worked for Harlock Lock Co. in West Haven for over 20 years.  And retired from The Schick Co. in Milford where she worked for over 10 years. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and UNCONN Womens Basketball.  Jean loved the casino, but her true love was her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Jean is survived by her three children Robert (Cheryl) Riordan of Milford, Cathy (Guy) Fuggi of West Haven and Kevin Riordan of West Haven.  She is also survived by five grandchildren Jenifer Fuggi, Michele (Easton) Holmes, Shawn Meinzer, Ryan Riordan and Katherine Riordan, and a great grandchild Emma Holmes.  Jean is predeceased by her step-father Edward Moore and her daughter Brenda Riordan.
