Janice Marie Bean

Janice Marie Bean, age 73, of New Haven passed away peacefully at home on February 29, 2024. Born in New Haven on March 26th, 1950, she was the daughter of Mavis and the late Edmund H. Bean.

She grew up in Milford before moving to Florida and then returning to New Haven. She was an avid volunteer for which she was recognized by the City of New Haven as Senior Volunteer of the Year 2018, Department of Elderly Services.

She loved to crochet, watch golf, football, and game shows.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother Richard (Marybeth) of New Haven, and sister Martha (Bill deceased) of Hamden, along with her niece and nephews, whom she enjoyed watching grow through the years.

Visitation will be held at Keenan Funeral Home in West Haven, Friday, March 8th from 10AM – 12PM with a 12PM service. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
