Message from Marion/Madeline Turiano

Madeline and Anthony met when they were in kindergarten. This began what is now a lifelong friendship. Along with this wonderful friendship came the entire Richardson family. They are no longer merely friends, but extended family. As they welcomed us into their homes and lives, Madeline became not just Anthony's friend, but Patrick's, as well. Mrs. Bologna became grandmother to us all. If a goody bag, or special something, was being made, one was always made for Madeline. Grandma Irene considered Madeline as just another one of her grandchildren, and Madeline felt the same towards her. We all did. We will remember her always, and I know she will always be looking over Madeline. Love Marion, Michael and Madeline

I had the great honor of caring for Irene for over 12 years. She became like a second grandmother to many of us at the Apheresis unit. She was a lovely, caring lady. She had many health issues but never complained. Always the perfect patient. I will miss her but am glad she is at peace. My sympathies to her family, they we so devoted to her.
