Barbara B. Lingane

Barbara B. Lingane, Age 87 of West Haven passed away peacefully at CT Hospice on January 4, 2018.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Lingane.  Barbara was born in New Haven, Connecticut on April 8, 1930 to the late Lawrence and Eva Burdick Brown.

Barbara retired after 27 years from the United States Postal Service in Orange and Milford, Connecticut. She loved to travel and was an avid reader. For the last 25 years she attended the Novena  every Thursday at St. John Vianney Church. 

She was the devoted mother of Chris Lingane of Orange, CT.  She was predeceased by her son Joseph and her infant son Matthew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 9th 9am at St. John Vianney Church, 300 Captain Thomas Blvd., West Haven, CT.  Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the church the morning of the mass.  Burial to follow mass at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
