Albert M. Salvati

Albert Salvati age 75 passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in West Haven.  He was the beloved husband of Margaret Ruggiero Salvati.  He was born in New Haven, CT on June 27, 1942 to the late Angelo and Rose Sarno Salvati. 

Al was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam.  He retired after 25 years as a limousine driver from Connecticut Limo in New Haven.   He was a long time member of the Italian American Club and the Dart & Horseshoe Leagues.  He loved to travel and enjoyed cruising. 

Besides his wife of 27 years he is survived by two daughters, Sheri (Ray) Walters of North Haven and Dena (James) Cardone of West Haven and a step daughter Kasey Cardone of Meriden.  He leaves behind one brother Pat Salvati of Branford and two sisters, Mary Dufault of West Haven and Gerry Moran of West Haven, as well as three grandchildren Kevin, Justin and Samantha.

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven on Thursday January 25, from 5pm – 8pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Church, 207 Main Street, West Haven on Friday, January 26 at 11am.  Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven with full military honors.
