Joseph J. Stash

MILFORD ~ Joseph J. Stash, 96, of Milford, formerly of North Fort Meyers, Florida, husband of 65 years to Vivian Decker Stash of Milford, passed away June 19, 2014 at Milford Hospital. He worked as a tool and die maker for Bryant Electric and GE for many years before retiring. Surviving besides his wife are his children, Cliff Stash of Milford, Joan Vere (Mark) of West Haven, Douglas Stash of Florida, Tim Stash of West Haven, Joyce Bennett (John) of New Haven and Lynn Nunziata (Dave), of West Haven; his sisters, Eleanor Clark, Ruth Monsky and Katherine Majka; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Andrew Stash; and his sisters, Martha O’Neil, Marie Green, Veronica Chapman, Helen Kadilic, Irene Stash and Josephine Kyle.
His funeral will be from Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven at 10:00 am on Tuesday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Milford. Burial will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
